Come twelve midnight tonight, our nation will celebrate the 59th Independence Day. A reflection of past glories relived for all to see, in remembrance of those whose lives were given up for this nation.
One Side of the Coin
It has not been an easy journey. Many had fell along the way, their blood defending the Federation. Yet at times, it seems to be in vain.
Some of those in power, and those who aspire to be in power, do not have the rakyat's interest in their heart. It is theirs and theirs alone.
Some write for money. Some write to share. I write to share. Defence, economics, these are my fields. If I err, point out to me, so I will learn.

Public Transportation Industry - The Legalisation of Uber and Grabcar
Last week, the Cabinet has agreed to legalising both Uber and Grab car, much to the consternation of taxi drivers and owners.
Almost immediately, owner and founder of Blue Taxi threatened to throw his support to the newly formed Bersatu, helmed by what Raja Petra Kamaruddin (or RPK) as Council of Elders (forget Syed Saddique, he is just another face to portray the youthfulness of the Council, till his utility is over).

Lack of exposure is one of the many factors some youth missed out the opportunity to serve our nation.
To Poke or Not to Poke
To Poke or not to Poke, that is the question we will be pondering today.
Last week, Niantic which produced the game Pokemon Go had finally opened their servers for Malaysia. And the responses were tremendous.

F16 Joke
Once in a while, I would indulge in a satirical post. The most recent recent was the post on the F16.
It was purposely written in a serious language to be as if it is true. Surprisingly, despite the obviously fake F16 and clues like politaik (roughly translated to as shitty politician), some friends taking care of other pages were asked if this post is true.
Sad thinking that the joke had more than two thousand hits, but serious articles get only a few hundred hits.
But even sadder that many did not critically use their thinking cap and deduce the article as a fake.
THHE Contracted for APMM Patrol Vessel
I read with interest YB Rafizi Ramli's blog post today on the awarding of a RM740 million contract to Tabung Haji Heavy Engineering Berhad to build 3 units of unspecified type of patrol vessels for the use of Agensi Penguatkuasaan Maritim Malaysia.
