A Strong Case to Maintain SOSMA

When then Prime Minister DS Najib abolished the ISA or Internal Security Act in 2011, Tun Dr Mahathir was amongst those that had criticised the move, which he had said that was to appease government detractors and foreign governments. In place of the abolished ISA, SOSMA or Security Offences Special Measures Act was enacted.

Should We Procure New Jets?

Recently, Defence Minister Mohamad Sabu had highlighted that there are only 4 Russian-made jets that are operational.  Which leads to the question of were there any misadventures, so to speak, in our Air Force?  Fortunately, or unfortunately, the issue was not spinned out of control by the Opposition, which incidentally were the previous government, which accounted for their tameness in this issue.  Hence, I did not really need to write much on this issue.

Gaji Minima - Apabila Pemikiran Rasional Mengatasi Janji Politik

Ucapan tahniah kepada kerajaan Pakatan Harapan hari ini kerana telah menaikkan gaji minima daripada RM1,000 ke RM1,050. Lebih menarik, kenaikan gaji minima kali ini memperlihatkan penyeragaman gaji minima bagi seluruh negara. Terdahulu, gaji minima bagi Sabah dan Sarawak adalah lebih rendah pada RM920 sebulan.
